  • Summary

What does this car say about you?

I don't need a big car but want one that's tough, reliable and can go anywhere.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

My girlfriend likes it, it's never let us down and everyone (myself included) love the high driving position.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Not really it's a bit too small for my needs now.

What are you likely to buy next?

Nissan X-Trail, Honda CRV, Toyota Rav 4 or maybe a 5 Door Grand Vitara next time.

    Independent

Did you buy this car new?

    No

    £2,995

When did you buy the car?

    March 2012

Did you get a good deal and why?

I was happy enough with the deal. There was no frills, just a good straight forward deal which we were both happy with.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I wanted a reliable go anywhere car with enough room for me and my two dogs.

    What was the dealer like?

Pretty good, straight talking, no messing honest seller. I would use again.

  • Driving it

    What's it like to drive?

I like it. It is rear wheel drive most of the time so it handles well in the dry and have never had any cause for concern in the wet either though the wheels can spin when starting on steep hills in the wet so I usually switch it into four wheel drive at the junctions where I know it will happen.

    What's it like to park?

Piece of cake. It's small enough to get into the tightest of spots. I'd give it 5 stars for parking.

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

Not much really. One of the rear seat belts wouldn't pull out, the CD player has never worked and the passenger side window switch only lowers the window so I have to use the drivers side switch to raise it. It needed a new battery about a year after I'd bought it but that's about it. Regular servicing seems to have kept all other faults at bay.

What's most practical about your car?

Great fuel economy, up to 50mpg on a run. Loads of boot space with rear seats folded flat. Small enough to chuck about.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Four wheel drive. It's one of the main reasons why I chose this car.
