In their own words

I decided on an electric car mainly on cost of ownership. The Tesla made sense as it's leading edge technically and the Tesla charging network is excellent. The only issues I've had with the car were minor software glitches that were fixed by over the air updates. The car is quiet, confortable, beautifully designed and really quick. I love the practical, minimalistic interior (think smart phone as opposed to an old Nokia). I have owned and driven many cars over 40 years and my Tesla ticks the most boxes of any of them. Dont be put off by all the hype about long charging times. Again, think smart phone, come home after work plug in, fully charged the next day. Long trips over 250-300 miles usually just a 20-30 minute stop for charging. If there is one thing I'm not 100% happy about is the paint integrity. I believe the issue of 'soft' paint has been resolved in newer models.
Some advantages over previous cars I've owned. A front boot (frunk), Aircon can be left on for long periods, The built in sentry mode (multiple cameras and proximity sensors), A very advanced autopilot, Regular software updates that bring new features and even performance improvements.
Teslas arn't cheap to buy, but the running costs have been so much cheaper than my previous (ICE) cars.
