In their own words

Coming from a Macan Turbo this was a bit of a culture shock! It’s frighteningly quick, incredibly cheap to run, particularly if you use EV overnight charging rates from Octopus with your home charger. No servicing costs (unlike the Porsche!) other than tyres and brakes. Quoted ranges are optimistic in the UK particularly in the winter, but you quickly allow for this. Whilst not up to German standards, build quality is better than generally assumed. Simple to drive and as you would expect, the tech is second to none. The charging network is fantastic especially when compared to non Tesla offerings which I’ve had to use on occasion (varying apps, payment methods etc). With Tesla charging, turn up, plug in then have a coffee (or watch Netflix!). Frequent over the air updates introduce improvements and keep the car current. If you do need service, appointment are booked via the app and a technician may contact you in advance to discuss. Simple repairs can be carried out at you home (I had a rear light cluster which was misting up replaced at home) I’ve had many quality ICE vehicles over the years, all German and never really considered anything else but did the research and never regret making the change.
