Tesla Model S review (2023)

Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

Once you drive a Tesla, you will never go back to noisy dirty slow (everything feels slow after a Tesla) combustion engined car. It is on another planet from what else is out there. Yes, it does have minimalistic interior so if you like knobs, don't get one. What sums it up is I've done 25,000 miles without any hassle or charging concerns (pretty every service station has supercharger or equivalent) and I look forward to 600 mile round trips which are so relaxing. Don't be taken in by car mags that depend on the German manufacturers for their ad revenue - this is something way, way better and I say that as an initial sceptic who agonised over buying one.

How reliable do you find the car?

Mirror occasionally didn't fold back. They sent out someone to fit a new mirror.

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

Some of the car mags are lukewarm - no surprise as Tesla doesn't advertise in their magazines. after owning 2 Audi A7s, a BMW 5 and a Merc Eclass, I can say I am astonished by this car. Sub 3 seconds to 60, equivalent of 150 mpg and can seat 7. It is on another planet. It makes you realise how short changed we have been by major manufacturers. This is Apple iphone versus old school Nokia.
