In their own words

I bought my 2016 Toyota Auris 1.2T Business edition as a 2-previous-owner used car which cosmetically needed a really good clean and polish inside and outside but mechanically it is low (34,000) miles and with a full genuine Toyota service history. Because of the legendary build quality and reliability of Toyota cars (and the fact this replaces a 2007 Auris which never had any problems whatsoever) I’m not expecting to have anything to worry about. It’s a bit of a 'jelly mould' ride and certainly is very comfortable on long runs or short runs with family and colleagues but it is no sports car. So if you’re after BMW sports handling and driver feedback you ought to be buying a BMW - but this Toyota is built in Great Britain and will, I am sure, last the 10+ years I’m planning on keeping it for before I’m forced into an expensive EV! £20 tax disc per year means it’s really low emissions and 56+ mpg means it’s really frugal to run. Very quiet inside unless very high up the Rev range. Lovely car. Highly recommended.
