Nice looking is the main comment. My neighbour has a Volvo tank that does 20mpg so the 59 mpg that this Auris has averaged over the last 5000 miles can make him groan.

Yes or another hybrid CVT.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Its a company lease so it has to be off the approved list. However, the main reason was my last cars have been Prius (Mk2 and Mk3) and this is much the same but a bit smaller and a bit cheaper.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Smooth, calm. A bit noisier than a Prius. View out of the back window is a bit worse. Turning circle is good.
What's it like to park?
Very good. Its fairly small and there are parking sensors to help plus the rear view camera is a great help which is just as well as the view through the back window is rather restricted. There is a button to press that will make it parallel park itself but I haven't dared to try it !

No. Its a Toyota.
What's most practical about your car?
The engine and gearbox (CVT).
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
CVT is best. After that, the Nav and rear view camera.
