A brilliant car that is worthy of much more credit than it has received by car reviewers. The Avensis sticks to the typical Toyota principles of being comfortable, easy to drive, smooth and importantly, reliable.
However, it also handles well, feels quick and is enjoyable to drive. We'll done Toyota, I will stick with your cars. Likewise, my next car is mostly like going to the Toyota Camry, with the Toyota Corolla saloon being a consideration.
How reliable do you find the car?
Owned for 4 years, an not a simple mechanical issue. Just make sure to keep up routine maintenance.
Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
I have always like this car, but this has exceeded my expectations. Reviewers make this car appear dull, but it is much better than that. It is smooth, comfortable, reliable, economical, nippy and a decent handler.
