What does this car say about you?

I'm a bit of a boy racer but one with good taste who can pick a car that is less common than your Type Rs etc, and has a bit more of a grown up feel to it.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Due to my Stainless straight through exhaust they think its horrendous. But apart from that it gets thumbs up and second glances wherever it goes.

Would you buy this car again and why?

I absolutely would if I was to buy another hot hatch, however I am looking to upgrade soon.

I got the car at Trade Price from a friend.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

It's not something you see every day, and has a repuation for being reliable as well as nippy.

What was the dealer like?

N/a.

What's it like to drive?

It's great to drive, the steering is responsive, it handles like it's on rails and there's enough power when you need it. Negatives, the gearing is slightly strange. 6th gear is pretty much the same as 5th. Also to drive really quickly you need to totally kick the cars head in.

What's it like to park?

Easy to park being a small hatch with good visibility.

Have you had any problems with the car?

I have owned the car 6 months and done 8000 miles in it, and apart from pads & discs and 2 tyres, it's needed nothing.

What's most practical about your car?

Due to the high rev range and lift not engaging until 6200 rpm, you can drive the car as sensibly as you'd like to and can happily cruise - when you need the power just put your foot down and it arrives!

Rain Sensitive Wipers & Auto-dimming mirror.
