  • Summary

    4 out of 5 4.0

What does this car say about you?

    Sheep in wolfs clothing.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Wife and kids just love it and always want to drive it rather than the 3 other cars we have. Looks good as well.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes. It's a Toyota so should last well. It's a small but powerful car that puts a smile on your face.

What are you likely to buy next?

    Audi A3, quattro, 2.0 FSI.

  • Buying experience

    4 out of 5 4.0

Type of dealer you bought from?

    Didn't buy from a dealer

Did you buy this car new?

    No

    What price did you pay?

    £2,900

When did you buy the car?

    August 2013

Did you get a good deal and why?

Buyer wanted £3250 but came down to £2900 after we discussed some issues (minor) with the car. Also it was local and hence easy to see and drive. It has only done 49k miles and has all the old paperwork.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Wanted a car that would work in town and out on the open road. Did not want a big car but wanted a fast car with power, acceleration, some road holding but not rock hard suspension.

    What was the dealer like?

    No dealer involved.

  • Driving it

    5 out of 5 5.0

    What's it like to drive?

Lovely. Toodles around in town quite happily. clutch isn't too heavy, steering fine and well weighted. Open it up in country and shifts when necessary. My wife loves it.

    What's it like to park?

Easy....it's a small car with good all round visibility.

  • Living with it

    4 out of 5 4.0

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nothing yet but only 8 days into ownership but it's a Toyota...what more can I say.

What's most practical about your car?

Is getting 35mpg in town and goes like the clappers out of town when needed. Good and reasonably compliant ride as well. Not bone shaking!!

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The VVTLI "lift". At 6200 revs the extra oomph kicks in like a turbo...but it's not a turbo.
