  • Driving it

    5 out of 5 5.0

    What's it like to drive?

Simply brilliant. It's easily the most fun and comfortable car I've owned. The handling is excellent in the dry and keeps you on your toes in the wet. Happy sat in traffic or giving it stick on the country roads or motorway. Very good all-round performance, quite pokey at low revs but then it really flies when you take it up above 4000rpm. Very balanced car due to mid-engine and RWD setup. Needs good tyres to get the most from it.

    What's it like to park?

Not too bad, medium-sized car with reasonable visibility. Variable rate power-steering.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Just a few things (bear in mind the age): - New steering rack gaitors at 75k miles. - New clutch at 80k miles. - New handbrake cables at 95k miles. - New shocks all round at 105k miles. - Gearbox has developed a slight crunch in 3rd. - Engine uses oil sometimes.

What's most practical about your car?

It's a 2 door sportscar but there is still plenty of room and even a good-sized boot. Great driving position too.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Air-conditioning, electric folding mirrors, adjustable steering wheel and steering front fog lights.
