In their own words

I bought this to replace a Focus that was about to get expensive. We'd had the previous model 1.3 for a few years, that had been incredibly reliable (It's now on 205K miles, and had its first clutch change at 192K). This one had just under 25K on the clock when I bought it, was awash with toys, and had a panoramic roof.. And still had nearly two years of the Toyota warranty left. Auto Headlights, wipers, auto dimming rear view mirror, keyless ignition., six speed box I like most things about it, but best for me is the reversing camera. Which will be top of my list for my next car. Servicing has been surprisingly cheap, and Toyota was the best price I could find for a set of tyres. There are a couple of minor gripes: Basic acceleration from start is a bit disappointing (but I've learnt to forgive that) The price for keeping the Sat Nav up to date is an utter rip off disgrace, (But then Google or Waze on the phone are both better anyway) Would I buy another? By the time I get round to getting another car the Yaris will probably be bigger than I want. All cars seem to get a bit bigger with each new version, and with luck by then Hydrogen fuel cell cars will be available to give me truly gas emission free motoring with some better performance. But till then, if this one proves as reliable as the other one, I will keep it.
