What does this car say about you?

likes something sporty but practical

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

most seem to like it, get the " christ thats a big boot " comment a lot, front passenger seat is quite low down makes it hard for my poor old mum to get in and out

all the others i have had yes, this one no!

depends on budget after company car opt out, VW golf better all rounder

i expect the company paid about £5 for it

company car, was either this or a zafira !

What was the dealer like?

The man who delivered it was very nice

What's it like to drive?

generally pretty good, bit bumpy sometimes but then the suspension is very hard seats pretty comfy, considering it's a diesel its a flying machine, especially mid range, it leaves my friends BMW 328 standing in 3rd gear ( very funny ) motorways are a breeze with 6 gears

What's it like to park?

a pain in the backside, its longer than it looks, the corners are impossible to see due to the shape, mirrors dont help

Have you had any problems with the car?

aside from a few " interesting " electrical momments, nothing major. headlights like to turn themselves off for a few seconds along with everything else inside, radio, blower dashboard lights etc. worse during winter, been checked at service, couldnt find anything wrong, no surprises there, also couldnt find out why it smokes REALLY badly when cold and why the exhaust makes vibrating sounds when lifting off above 2000 rpm. It has recently starting wandering about when driving in a straight line, next service i have something new for them to look at. To be fair it always starts first time even after sittng for a week in the worst winter ever. I have had about 5 of these now with no problems seems i got a friday car this time round

What's most practical about your car?

the boot is MASSIVE, bigger than my dad's golf estate by miles, but a lot less legroom in the back, hey ho can't have it all i suppose
