Value
I bought 3 year old for nearly half the price of a new one.
Costs
Nothing spent yet, but but you do use a bit of fuel if you're just running around.

Driving
The ride of the new Astras is good, but with the sports suspension it corners even better.
Performance
100bhp is, ok but I think Vauxhall could have got a little more into the engine.

Reliability
No problems yet. Have heard though that if the valves go, £££.

I personally think it's a good looking car, but with a spoiler and the stainless steel back box, it's even nicer.
Comfort
I find the car very comfortable around town and on the motorway. I like the sports seats.

Only had an immobiliser, so fitted a Cat 1 alarm/immobiliser to be sure.
Service
They were good, but it kind of helped that I knew a salesman working there.

The new Ecotec engine is good and goes well, even when pushed hard.
