Vauxhall Astra Hatchback (2004 - 2010) 1.8i VVT Club 5d Owner Review

Gruff engine noise. No alloys. No engine temperature indicator on dashboard. Poor air conditioning. Undetermined odour and smoke emissions from under the bonnet sometimes. Manual rear windows. Decent enough size and boot. Performance adequate around town, but worried to push it on motorways. Petrol engine not the most economical. Bland but practical styling. Won't win any beauty awards. Perfect car for parking in supermarket car parks, taking rubbish to the dump and for a big dog in the back. Everybody should have a second car like this :)
