    4 out of 5 4.0

Lots about so there's no need to pay over the odds for Corsa's.

    Costs

    4 out of 5 4.0

The three cylinder 12v engine is excellent for economy and insurance. I'd go for this over the old 1.2 and 1.4 8 valves.

  • On the road

    Driving

    2 out of 5 2.0

The Corsa has a very poor suspension set up and fails to grip the road. There is also prominent body roll. The 106 and Fiesta put the Corsa to shame.

    Performance

    4 out of 5 4.0

Performance is very good for a one litre engine. Easily as quick as the old 1.2 8v and not far off the 1.4.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    3 out of 5 3.0

I have owned the car for three years and I've not had too many problems with reliability. Although make sure to check hand break cables.

The Corsa's generally a good looker. Can look mean done up.

    Comfort

    3 out of 5 3.0

The Corsa is very comfortable with good supportive seats. The driving position is good and the car is generally spacious. The drive becomes uncomfortable when cornering due to the cars tendancy to roll.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    4 out of 5 4.0

Generally good. The breeze features dead locking. I'm not sure about other models.

    Service

    4 out of 5 4.0

    Good overall.
