What does this car say about you?

Not alot, maybe that i was on a tight budget lol

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They hate the suspension as much as me but like the leg room.

Would you buy this car again and why?

I wouldnt buy a corsa again, the handleing is just too poor especially in the wet. Its also hard to get a good example because its a car owned by many a boy racer so expect a few scuffs and knocks.

What are you likely to buy next?

I wouldnt mind a 206 gti 180, i think they look awesome but group 17 insurance...

    £1,300

When did you buy the car?

    March 2007

Did you get a good deal and why?

It was an alrite price, not the best example of a corsa but all the electrics worked and was tidy inside.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

After an accident in the 106 gti i was on a tight budget and scratch from insurance so all i could afford, also looks pretty sporty.

    What was the dealer like?

JM autos outside doncaster, he was alrite, allowed me for a run and took it on a ramp to have a look underneath to see if there was anything wrong and was willing to drop a bit off the price.

    What's it like to drive?

Suspension is terrible, its just too soft for country roads, you just end up bouncing around and not really holding the road at all. Engine is noisy at 3,500rpm (70mph in 5th) which isnt good for motorways at all, but the seats arent too bad and acceleration is pretty good because of the short ratio gearbox but mpg isnt great because of it. Decent size boot for a small hatch and there is enough leg room in the back for the average person.

    What's it like to park?

Not too bad because its a small hatch. Pretty good view all round the vehicle (not quite as much as fiestas) and the turning circle is small so u can get into some pretty tight spaces. Powersteering helps also.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Wheel bearing went in the first week, only cost £8 and an hours labour. New brake pipe was leaking because it had wrong flared ends on it but got it re-flared and hasnt leaked again.

What's most practical about your car?

Very good around town, nice and easy gearchanges and a short ratio box make it ideal to toodle around at 30mph in 5th no sweat.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Electric windows/mirrors and air con is always nice. On board computer is basic but very usefull, (date/time/temp)
