Cheap to buy, there's always an offer on if your buying new.

    3 out of 5 3.0

Servicing is a bit steep and it is hard to tell if the car has been serviced or not. On the up side, as it's a common car non Vauxhall parts are in abundance.

    4 out of 5 4.0

A tad agricultural, but the go-kart like performance is fun!

    Performance

    5 out of 5 5.0

Excellent for a 1.2, unfairly slated in the press. It beats the pants off the equivalent Fiesta and Polo, if you don't believe me look at the stats!

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    2 out of 5 2.0

Ran without a glitch for three years, then the steering column bent, 2 months out of warranty. A common problem with Vauxhalls which has not bee widely broadcast. The manager at my Vauxhall garage said that he was seeing lots of Corsa's with the same prob

Good, but many people listen to the bad press and so are a bit scathing. The SXI is definitely more appealing than the Miss Marple like Comfort

    Comfort

    4 out of 5 4.0

Good sports seats. It's worth paying the extra for the SXI.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    4 out of 5 4.0

Immobiliser and deadlocks. Not much need for an alarm.

    Service

    3 out of 5 3.0

Expensive servicing with little results. Staff forgot to stamp the service book every time!

Bent steering column after three months due to fatigue. Replacement about £800. I was also told I needed a steering rack as well as it had badly worn. I sold the car not long after this.
