Value
Better deals out there for "sporty" small cars, but the Corsa is reliable and cheap to run.
Costs
40+mpg with lots of city driving and a lead right foot.

On the road
Driving
Holds the road well once you get used to the wobbly bodyroll. Ignore the roll and it corners at fantastic speeds. Found to be more comfortable than the Astra I had previously.
Performance
1.2 16v is a bit limp at low revs - the new Twin port 1.2 16v they're fitting from Sep 04 should sort that out.

Living with it
Reliability
6 months and 5000 miles without a single issue. French cars should take note.

Great looking car, doesn't deserve the boy racer image. Corsas are driven by young and old.
Comfort
No sore back! I'm 6'2"" and have no issues. Sports seats are excellent compared to my old Astra Club.
