What does this car say about you?

I'm a young boy racer. Although when they see the CDTI on the back I think they think again.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They love it, says it suits me to a tee. I'm a 21 yo uni student. They love the leather which seems to be a rarity for student cars.

Yes but only the SRI, I find the lower models ugly with the black plastic line that runs around them.

What are you likely to buy next?

Unsure, I'm not planning to sell this any time soon. possibly a New Corsa SRI CDTI or 320d M Sport Salooon

  • Driving it

    5 out of 5 5.0

    What's it like to drive?

Its a little monster. If you know how to drive a diesel (keep it in torque band) its a little rocket. Sticks to the road like glue around the corners but, push it too much and the back starts going light. Motorway its a civilised cruiser, will keep up and pull away with the diesel exec cars in the fast lane. Suspension is hard, I have now taken to dodging bumps and will take other routes home that bypass speed humps.

    What's it like to park?

Easy, Although the rear pillars seem a little wide.

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

Low fuel pressure leading to poor starting and poor cold running. Simple fix a small fracture in fuel line was letting air in which in a diesel is bad news. Warranty covered it.

What's most practical about your car?

Its small, I had a astra estate previously but now I'm at uni and travelling into town everyday and parking in a tiny multi-storey car park the size difference matters. The engine is fantastic. Manchester to Oxford and back on £25 and I wasn't hanging around, you can't complain about that.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Everything. Leather is nice to have in a little car, heated seats, 6 CD changer in dash, DAB digital radio.
