Bought for £12k at 2.5yrs old (list £19k).
Costs
Head gasket at 60k and exhaust - £1300!

2.2 is ok. Perhaps a little sluggish at times.
Performance
This isn't a Ferrari, but I converted to LPG so 38mpg :)

Reliability
Niggling warning light problems spoil an otherwise well put together car (and shouldn't the head gasket last more than 60k?). Always starts!

It's a 4x4, but at least it's not a RAV4... :)

Not bad on long journeys, but needs air con.

Local dealer (Batchelors of Ripon) is excellent.

Engine
Head gasket at 60k. Cambelt and rollers need doing every 40k on the Ecotec engines.
Other
Airbag/seatbelt loom replaced under warranty. Niggling faulty cam sensor causes engine warning light to come on/go off at will.
