they think i should scrap it so nobody else has the bad luck of having to drive it.

Would never even have a vauxhall let alone a meriva, customer service is shocking!

Not considering myself and mum bought a car at the same time.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

wanted a family sized car.

What's it like to drive?

Rough,impossible when steering goes, on edge waiting for timing chain to snap and wreck the engine.

What's it like to park?

terrible blind spots due to diagonals at front.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Where to start? Electric power steering failed, was on watchdog so they eventually admitted a fault and fixed for free. Timing chain was faulty and replaced after 11,500 miles, now being told it needs a new one at 32,000 miles (but it isnt a faulty part!) CPU needed resetting, radio comes on on its own, knocking noise when doing low speeds, buzzing from behind dash, creaks n moans due to cheap interior. Radio display has a funny one every now and then. WOULD NEVER HAVE A VAUXHALL AGAIN, BUYER BEWARE!
