  • Economy

    Costs

    2 out of 5 2.0

A lot more thirsty than the 2.0 Vectra it replaced.

  • On the road

    Driving

    3 out of 5 3.0

Quiet and comfortable, but suspension too soft and can be nervous a high speeds.

    Performance

    2 out of 5 2.0

On motorways, fantastic. On the high street, don't try and dart anywhere - you'll not make it.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    2 out of 5 2.0

18 months old and 33k miles. Now needs new power steering pump and 4 new tyres (scrubs outside fronts, apperently common on Omegas).

    1 out of 5 1.0

    Mid 50s executive.

    Comfort

    1 out of 5 1.0

This car replaced a vectra. I felt that the Vectra was a nicer interior, but the Omega is fantastic for cabin space.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    1 out of 5 1.0

    Nothing special. Standard Vauxhall deadlocks.

    Service

    1 out of 5 1.0

Tried to tell me that what I know is wrong with the car isn't, eut eventually get it right.

  • Problems and Ownership

    Problems

    Engine

Too small for this size of car. Very thirsty. Large tank doesn't go far. Very bad CO2 rating.

    Other

Other than faulty power steering pump and agressive tyre wear, none.
