Value
Very good value compared to other manufacturers and models. Bought mine as ex-company vehicle with 45K on clock 3 years ago.

Not expensive on costs, economical and fair priced parts on this model. No excessive fuel, oil or tyre usage.

Lively and responsive for a 1600 hatchback of this size even with passengers.

Reliability
Totally reliable, although I regularly (once every 6 weeks or so) check car over. Normally I find no problems at all. Gearbox is nice and smooth, hot or cold on this one.

Minor faults in 3 years including flasher unit packing up and orange indicator bulbs becoming clear after orange paint burns off ( fails MOT for this). Nothing complex or costly.
