• Summary

    4 out of 5 4.0

What does this car say about you?

They want to save money on tax and fuel because they've got a diesel.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They like it, and the colour too.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes (I did). I'd like one with full length sunroof and sat nav, but I've never seen one with both.

What are you likely to buy next?

Not sure as I don't intend changing it for a good few years. Probably be another Zafira though, I love them to drive (although I'd like a 4x4 for winter snow/ice weather).

Did you buy this car new?

    No

    £0

When did you buy the car?

    March 2011

Did you get a good deal and why?

I thought so at the time but now think that I could have got a better spec car for similar money (although better spec model is quite rare)

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Swapped my 1.8 petrol 07 reg for the diesel version to save money on fuel and get cheaper tax

    What was the dealer like?

Very friendly but wouldn't really budge on the price they were selling it at (due to having Sport button and low milage)

  • Driving it

    5 out of 5 5.0

    What's it like to drive?

Excellent, much MUCH better accelleration than the 1.8 petrol, especially so when the Sports button is used.

    What's it like to park?

Easy, but rear parking sensors would have been nice.

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

When my wife picked it up and brought it to show me, they hadn't properly cleaned car so there was a long mark down side of car and some other marks all over. Plus (my own fault for not checking) the rear passenger foot well has deep scratches and a couple of deep dints.

What's most practical about your car?

7 Seats, Diesel for fuel economy.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Sports button; firms suspension and turns the soft gentle ride into a firm, highly responsive accellerating people carrier that feels like a sports car.
