Value
Compared to the competition, it is great value for money.
Costs
This car is only 2 months old, so costs not yet determined, but expected to be excellent, due to solid Diesel engine and Vauxhall parts/service is very competitive.

On the road
Driving
Overall it's excellent. Much better than the VW Touran SE 2.0 Diesel, which wallows. The IDS+ option is great fun when driving hard, but benefit almost unnoticeable in normal driving.
Performance
The 1.9DCTi engine is great fun. Amazing performance, especially in gear acceleration. Sport suspension, with 225/45/17 tyres standard, gives excellent handling. Much better than wallowing Touran 2.0 (140BHP) Diesel. IDS+ great fun when driving hard.

Living with it
Reliability
Expected to be v-good, by all accounts. So far no problem (except IDS+ option was faulty on delivery and replacement unit fitted under manufacturers warranty). Time will tell.

No MPV is beautiful, but in my view this one has some real style, which is better than can be said of all the rest! Rear spoiler on SRi enhances blandish MPV back end.
Comfort
Suspension slightly hard, but gives excellent handling. Leather option seats are very comfortable. Standard seats a bit tight for some though. Without glass sunroof car/engine is much quieter than noisy VW Touran Diesel (140BHP).

Security
As good, probably better, than anything I have had so far. Good immobiliser which doesn't have stupid function of allowing car to start then stall, like some cars do.
Service
Local Vauxhall dealer is in top ten for UK. Very good service so far.

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
None. Slight squeak from fan belt or alternator. Simple lubrication should fix.
Other
None, except IDS+ black box (CPU) was faulty on supply, but replaced no bother by local Vauxhall service shop.
