What does this car say about you?

I suppose it says I am a practical sort of individual who makes up his own mind on the kind of car to buy and although I did quite a bit of research before buying I will not be swayed by personal opinions of others unless there is substance in their criticisms.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

I have no idea about the neighbours and don't care anyway. However, my family like it and my son in law is already looking for one of the diesel models as he does many more miles than me each year to get to work. That is almost all motorway driving and he needs space for his equipment which makes this car a very good buy.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Although I have only had this car for about 5 weeks, I have already grown to love driving it. For the first time in many years I feel very happy with this purchase and wish I had bought one years ago. It is, as I have said very comfortable to drive, it has loads of space, it is easy to get in and out of and I have a computer programme where I record all my fuel and which gives me both individual fill mileage and overall average which of course becomes more accurate over a longer period. My current average based on 1500 miles of 50-50 motoring on motorways and local running around is levelling out at just over 33 miles to the gallon. I am quite happy with that for the smooth ride and comfort I get from this 2.2cc car.That all adds up to a yes vote.

What are you likely to buy next?

At my age I dar'n't look that far ahead!! However, it is highly likely this car will finish it's useful life in my ownership by which time I also will probably be giving up driving but if I do have to buy again I certainly won't be looking much further than the Zafira based on my short ownership at the moment.

Did you get a good deal and why?

I got a fair p/ex on my own car and felt that this car although a little above the book price was in such condition as to make it a good buy.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I needed a car big enough to transport my two dogs and for days out with my daughter and grand children.

What was the dealer like?

Very pleasant, didn't apply any pressure and basically only answered questions that I asked. I was allowed as much time as I required to inspect the car and to test drive it.

What's it like to drive?

I have personally found this to be probably the the most comfortable and smoothest car to drive I have owned and I have owned more than a few in my 54 years on the road.

What's it like to park?

Very easy for a quite large car. Bear in mind the back is flat so it makes reversing pretty straightforward. Other drivers may have different views but this is a personal view and I have pretty good judgement and used to tow and reverse park with a caravan so this is a piece of cake.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nothing so far and it feels absolutely right. I had it fully checked over and fully serviced by my mechanic of over 20 years and had to have the wheels balanced as they were a mile out. Other than that I have already clocked up about 1500 miles and the car drives beautifully.

What's most practical about your car?

It is very easy to drive, handles well and has endless space.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

I have no favourite gadget or option etc. but would state that this car is designed with some great little features and is very clever in all aspects.
