In their own words

Replacing a 200hp Audi TT with a 2019 e-Golf with 25k miles didn't disappoint in driving pleasure, especially as the Golf rides so much better over Dorset roads. Cabin comfort is equal, but hard plastic cladding shows 'feathering' that cannot be refurbished, and only appeared after the pre-delivery valeting 'cleaners' have dried. Acceleration is silky and more than adequate. Range is 121 miles (108 in winter), we only charge to 80% to prolong battery life, but it can regen as much as 10 miles going down a hill. It has three sought-after options: a Heat Pump, Heated Windscreen and Dynaudio sound system with a superb subwoofer, but that takes up the space-saver slot (only comes with a repair kit, but we found a spare, and already used it twice in six months for punctures to a seemingly fragile Bridgestone). There are unexpected features like steerable headlights which work well, and auto wipers and rear view mirror which don't. Mud sticks to the fibre wheel arch liners, which is a pain to wash. It only needs a 3-4 hr charge via a 3 pin plug on an Octopus night tariff set to 10A, working out at £3-4 per week. So far very pleased. Next, see how well it do at its MOT in 3 months' time.

How reliable do you find the car?

Looking into these problems, unsure if its me or the car:
1 Auto emergency braking activated twice on its own
2 Alarm sounded apparently without cause
3 Plugged in but did not charge, probably I should have checked properly plugged in.
