Ok I’ve had all sorts of company cars over time. Rubbish ones and a few brilliant, the best a golf GTI edition 30, and a BMW 320d. But the little weedy golf we brought when I left all that corporate stuff behind, from a dodgy little garage somewhere in Newbury for £3k has been utterly brilliant. Sure the aircon is intermittent and with what is actually 89ps not 105. It still gets us all around quite happily with no fuss no problems. We call him Gary. Gary the golf and I don’t think we’ll ever sell him, he’s been utterly brilliant and the whole family loves him.
