Bought second hand 4 years ago.
Costs
Two wheel bearings one battery one piece of rubber hose. Dirt cheap, as minimal depreciation.

I would never take it to a franchised dealer. Basic items I do myself, but otherwise I use an independent mechanic.

Mostly very good indeed, occasionally hesitant on a cold morning. However, starts first time every time.

I am resisting the temptation of buying a newer model, as the quality of construction is just not the same.
