Value
Expensive when launched, can be bought for nothing now.
Costs
Very expensive to keep on the road. 1.8 engine will only return about 30mpg.

Great feel through the steering, can tell how old the road is as you roll over it even!
Performance
Great performance, will leave the 1.8T GTI for dust right up until 115mph...great in the corners too.

Never broken down in 18 years.

She's looking her age now unfortunately, was fantastic say 10 years ago though.
Comfort
Loud engine at speed, no creature comforts such as air con etc. Sunroof is a must though. Seats are supportive and plenty of room for such a small car. Still drove to eastern Spain in her in 1994, got very hot inside car.
