,but not from new, I guess!

No worse than my mk2, annual service £330 at main dealer

Driving
I find the handling nose heavy and a bit wafty after having a mk2 gti 8V, which handled much more securely.
Performance
Quick in a straight line, less so round corners where it's a bit unpredictable. They shoud have built a 4wd version (a la mk4).

Had car 18 months absolutely nothing has gone wrong

No complaints thanks to aircon although being 6 foot tall, my head does touch the roof

std immobiliser is ok for me, too old now to nick hopefully
