Driving it
What's it like to drive?
This car replaces my Gold mark IV GT TDI 130 which was a great car. My first impressions are a very smooth drive, the ride is firm with little body roll compared to the mark IV Golf. Breaks are very responsive. The car does feel far bigger than the previous model (feels like the size of an Audi A4 inside) and more refined but in my opinion a little clinical. You can feel the steering firm up when travelling at higher speeds which takes a little while to adjust too when driving hard. Overall it feels like the Golf GT Sport has grown up and is a very capable sports hatch.

Good all round visability so no problems.
