Sensible motor - maybe sensible driver!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Love it. In fact since I've had it three of my friends are looking to get the Mk5
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes. Solid, spacious, good MPG and it's VW.
What are you likely to buy next?
Maybe newer model of this. Not had it long so won't be for a while.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Reasonable. Got a trader friend to find out the trade price at the time of purchase and it was close, which was very good as it was a private sale.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Tried the Mk4 GT TDI, really sloppy suspension. Wanted newer VW.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Great to drive. Sports seats are very comfortable. Lots of engine torque. Average MPG 52 driving reasonably gently and not over 65mph.
What's it like to park?
Not too bad, although the bonnet slopes away so hard to see the front end.

Have you had any problems with the car?
Not so far, touch wood.
What's most practical about your car?
Nice to have the space inside. Seats separate to fold down. Managed to get 3 interior house doors in it with the passenger seat forward.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Climate control and 6 speed box.
