Volkswagen Golf Hatchback (2013 - 2020) 1.4 TSI (125bhp) Match 5d Owner Review

Comfort, refinement and excellent ergonomics. 1.4 turbo engine needs at least 6K under its belt to loosen up and then proves to be surprisingly torquey although engine note a little asthmatic. Found 'Sport' setting to be best in terms of steering heft and throttle response. Excellent equipment levels (Match Edition model). Radar sensitive cruise control works very well. Intuitive infotainment system and sat nav. Audio quality ever so slightly underwhelming but not poor by any means.
