In their own words

This really is a fine car in many, many ways. I have owned a Golf Mk V before but this version is far superior. Mine had the winter pack which brought heated seats & wing mirrors , the former were fantastic but the latter was hopeless.
My car also had front fog lights ( rare in a modern car ), auto start/stop, hill hold, space saver spare tyre, Apple CarPlay, sat nav and cylinder shut off where the car would coast along on just 2 cylinders which may sound a bit worrying but unless you glanced down at the dash you would never know.
This function mainly only occurred on the motorway giving excellent fuel economy of 55+ mpg.
The interior space was excellent for a small city car & the boot space was also pretty good considering the overall length of the car. In truth the interior packaging was very clever and well thought out.
In town carrying 5 adults the car felt underpowered but not by too much. The car's kickdown from its 7 speed DSG box was quite impressive when carrying just 2 occupants.
My car had Continental tyres fitted and these were from the factory, they suited the car perfectly and gave a very smooth & comfortable ride.
The car had no warning triangle or first aid kit which was tight fisted on the part of the manufacturer but apart from that I have to say that this car is a fine addition to the Golf line-up and history.
