Value
Over-priced. Quality is lacking.
Costs
If it wasn't leased and out of warranty it would cost a lot putting things right: Electric windows, central locking, radio, trim breaking and falling off. Economical though, 40-47mpg.

Ok but uncomfortable after a couple of hours.

Not bad for a diesel, once you get moving.

Engine: Excellent. Body and interior trim poor, both glove boxes broke, electric windows and central locking pack up, radio works when it feels like it.

Ok, but seats are a bit hard and unsupportive after a couple of hours.

Not particularly impressed. They need it in for a whole day to do anything, then don't fix things because they don't order the parts in.

Electrical problems, rear seats are awkward to remove/replace, VW don't cover poor trim breaking under warranty.
