In their own words

Firstly, VW mess around with trim grades all too frequently. The Match trim of ours is superior to a new 2022 Match trim car. We were lucky in that our car had been registered in error (wrong fuel car for customer order) and we got it with a big discount but I'll try not to let that influence. Trim level messing apart, the car is everything we would want. We tow a caravan and this car ranks well as a tow car (in truth, and having had one previously, 4Motion (AWD) would give a more secure feeling on wet or wintry days but so far no problem). It has a lot more room with third row of seats folded than a standard Tiguan and has the same reclining and sliding 2nd row seats. Driving experience is okay for an SUV with a little body roll on bends but nothing alarming. Being a diesel the power is in the right place for towing and is more than adequate for solo use. Ours is a150Bhp engine which we have had in 3 VWs over the years. Running costs are reasonable although ours is affected by little use when considering depreciation and the fact one still pays the same amount as average users at service time. In conclusion, it's big, does everything we want and need in a car and yes, I/we would gladly have the same again.
