I've done almost 30k miles, it hasn't missed a beat. I really love it and still look back when I've parked it(always a good sign). It's not the most exciting car in the world but it serves its purpose and has taken me and my family on some incredible adventures and road trips. I would definitely recommend researching the different specs, engines and options beforehand. Once you get the combination that works for you it's great.
How reliable do you find the car?
Being a family car one of the rear vents broke as my daughter uses it as a foot rest(to my frustration). However I was able to fix it myself with the guidance of YouTube. So overall nothing major. I've found it to be very reliable personally. I regularly clean it and service it as soon as necessary.
Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
I was hesitant to go for 2wd over the 4motion but glad I did. With the right set of tyres it performed great in the snow and with some light off roading I'm happy with what i needed it to do. The benefits of 2wd is the extra mpg and the manual gearbox. The spec level of the SEL model was perfect for me as it included the pan roof, massage seats and active info display. The pan rood gets a bad rap but I use it regularly and as long as you clean any debry out of it on the odd occasion it works without any issues or leaks.
