VW Tiguan 2008-

In their own words

I bought a 2009 one owner FSH 4motion Tiguan from a VW main dealer and it has to be the worst, most unreliable piece of rubbish i have ever bought and i've had some dogs in my time
So far its had a new dmf and clutch unit that when it went destroyed the engine by jamming it up and it smashed valves to pistons. To replace these was close to £4000, it's had new front and rear discs and pads, new drive shafts, new shocks front and rear, the anti roll bar rubbers and bushes on the front fell to bits and now the rear ones have perished so banging all the time now so they need replacing, the tow bar came lose, numerous bulbs blew, it just seems an endless task to stop it falling to bits as i drive it.
I've had no help what so ever from the main dealer although it was under warranty, apparently it was classed as wear and tear.
Without doubt the biggest pile of cr*p i've ever had the misfortune to own with no dealer back up.
I paid £7995 for it, i have shelled out near on £6000 on it in 2 1/2 years, i could have bought a good car for that!
Last VW i ever buy.
