Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

Bought in a hurry to replace a flooded Skoda Kodiak, (with the same engine and gearbox combination) as I couldn’t get a replacement one of those with the same spec. The VW doesn’t ride as well, despite same wheel/tyre size, has noticeably more wind noise (even at modest speeds) and does less mpg. Infotainment system not as good either, feels about 3yrs behind the Skoda one although the Tiguan is the same age. Gearbox in the Tiguan is sluggish to change down and if you give it bit more throttle, it slams home the kick down and takes off like a scalded cat, hardly conducive to smooth progress. Wish I had waited to get another Kodiak, it is a way better car.

How reliable do you find the car?

No issues, reliable and does the job.

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

It’s ok, but it’s not as good as I’d expected of the brand and not as good as the car it replaced (Skoda Kodiak)
