Smooth and quiet - prefer Volvo FWD to previous 3 Series RWD.

Second gear all noise, no action - but sublime power delivery 3rd gear upwards.

Warranty repairs - new alternator, software for trip computer and fix for door mirror heater - not what I expected !

Volvo seating / ergonomics up there with the best - a nice place to be.
