Superb design and build quality for a similar new price as a Mondeo or Vectra, but compare residual values.
Costs
Day to day costs are comparable with other cars of this class. Too early to comment upon the notorious Volvo servicing and parts costs.

Driving
Fabulously comfortable and supportive seats combined with tall gearing and very low noise levels make this an extremely refined motorway mile-eater. Cabin ergonomics are superb.
Performance
Not a dragster, but smooth torquey engine provides plenty of performance for rapid real world A to B transport.
