Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

Pro's - Good spec especially given it is the base model. Although it is the smallest engine it still performs well. Lots of toys for a 7 year old car like dual climate control, sat nav, heated seats, remote boot release, Lots of legroom large boot & can literally fit a (junior) tennis court in it (folded up of course!). Cons - No leather, No sunroof, Would be nice to have the bigger engine but then the excellent fuel economy drops and road fund license rises.

How reliable do you find the car?

Incredibly reliable but, as would be expected from a car with 110K on the clock, the start stop stopped working. Only issue was that the battery needed replaced. Put a new one in at £160 and it is back to running perfectly.

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

Best spec base model car I have ever had and my wife drives a Mercedes. Volvo is nicer to drive in most areas. The engine is smoother (even with 110K on the clock) and quieter than the Merc. Fuel economy is great regardless of what road you drive or how you drive it. Large boot, sat nav, air con, dual temperature settings, heated seats, etc, etc... Even though it is 7 years old it still has a quality feel about it. The few negatives... 1.6D engine is good but the 2.0 & 2.4 have (obviously) more power. I still have no issues towing my trailer with a 750KG load but it would be nicer to have that bit more power. Cloth seats are very comfortable but leather would have been nicer... I'm old fashioned and would have liked a sunroof!
