Volvo V40 Hatchback (2012 - 2019) T2 (122bhp) R Design Nav 5d Owner Review

A pleasure to be driving a 'not-quite-mainstream' premium car that doesn't come from Germany. It looks fabulous and has a simple interior - not fussy as mentioned by the website review. Very comfortable and though not covered a full year yet, it does everything I want. I opted for as close to a 'gadget-less' car as possible - hence the spec. Quite enough for anyone I would think; and since driving is the main point of having a car, being able to engage with the basic functions suits me well. If I have any one criticism it would be that the heating system is less responsive than I had hoped and the dash controls are not intuitive; but really that is a small issue. Easily outweighed by the excellent economy.
