Summary
What does this car say about you?
Not swayed by German badges. V60 is still quite rarely seen, so like something different. Safety and quality combined in a Volvo that doesn't look like...a Volvo.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Great looking car. Flamenco Red plus Tan leather looks great. Family love this car. Kids love the inbuilt leather seats. Colleagues with 3 series and C class are envious of the spec.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes. Looks, build quallity, refinement and huge spec for the cost.

Kept me informed of progress and delivered where and when suited me. Initial service due in Sept-12.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
I test drove many others (C220/A4/BMW3/Mazda6) and this was so much more refined and comfortable. The D3 engine is really relaxed, quiet and smooth. Much better than the other engines. Gearbox smooth. Brakes awesome. The steering is a little vague at times. I drive 40 miles to work, mainly along dual-carriageway and achieve 44mpg.
What's it like to park?
Easy. Parking sensors front and rear with visual image on 7" screen are great. Lots of visibility.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
No issues at all.
What's most practical about your car?
The V60 is not really an estate, as the boot isn't that big compared to it's peers. That said, you get 5 adults in no problem and day-to-day, the boot is fine.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Premium sound is awesome. SATNAV very good (most of the time). 7" screen is great. Built in children's seats excellent and really comfortable. Leather and seats excellent. The spec is well above it's peers, for the same monthly lease cost.
