Value
Got mine used after 3 years for £9500 for what was £22k new.
Costs
Fuel economy not the best when compared with performance, but then it's a big car! If this is a consideration then buy a diesel!

Smooth, comfortable, relaxing and calming - more relaxed after a journey than before!

Not fast, but no slouch either.

Reliability
Suspension needed fixed after I bought it, rear tailgate is temperamental and sometimes doesn't shut - but then it's done nearly 100k miles!

I'm only 29 so I get a bit of stick, however it is quietly respected, not flashy, and most importantly, not a BMW...!

Absolutely superbly comfortable, and that's after my car has done the best part of 100k miles.

Volvo main dealers expensive - I use an independent specialist for which I have had excellent service (I Cattanach - Inverness)

Occasionally doesn't start first time - symptoms of flooded engine for no obvious reason.

Suspension rattles at £89k miles, erratic tailgate sometimes refusing to shut properly.
