Value
Excellent. 40mpg average over 2 years.
Costs
First rate (not local) dealer, but not cheap. Front tyres last about 20,000 miles, and rears about double that.

Driving
Very disappointing steering lock requiring several point turns to enter narrow parking spaces. On the open road, though it is a delight.
Performance
Excellent combination of performance and economy from this diesel.

As 6' 4"" driver the legroom for rear passengers is not as good as the previous model.

Minor fault with 12v socket in load compartment, sorted under warranty, but car needed a 4-wheel alignment at 30,000 miles after driving on UK roads which cost £150.
