Getting sensible with age!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Everyone is giving me a hard time about how sensible it is for me given that I usually plump for an S Class, 7 Series or XJ Series. All agree it is a very good car
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, because it is a quality car and much better than I thought it would be. Volvo are easily a match for Merc, BMW or Audi. People need to take a look for themselves. I am the biggest badge snob of all, but eat humble pie on this one
What are you likely to buy next?
If I still need an estate, then another Volvo. If not, probably a CL500 (been itchning after one for years)

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very good on motorway. Not great on twisty country roads. (No suprise there!). Seats not as confortable as I was led to believe though

Ok, but lock/turning circle poor

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
No. Very good car and easily the equal of any Merc and BMW (and I have had four 5 series, a 7 series and an S Class). Very sweet diesel engine.
What's most practical about your car?
Space, comfort and economy. Very good motorway cruiser
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Heated seats, superb ventillation and stereo system
