In their own words

The Volvo XC40 is nice to drive, very comfortable and economical (with Diesel engine) if you drive in either econ or comfort mode the majority of the time. There is plenty of space in the front, back and boot, with lots of innovative storage solutions, including a drawer under the driver’s seat, additional storage space under the boot floor, large door pockets and even a rubbish bin in front of the arm rest! The infotainment system and sat Nav are very good, as are the numerous safety features. I love the large mirrors and 360 degree cameras. I have few gripes though, fuel tank is only 50 litres whilst the addblue tank is over two gallons, I would have preferred a larger fuel tank personally. Also there is no foot rest to the right of the accelerator, so no where to put your right foot when using cruise control on long motorway journeys. There isn’t an option for the radio volume to increase with speed, which I find surprising, as virtually all the cars I’ve had for the last 15 years or so have had this feature. Overall I would certainly recommend this car, however I don’t believe that you can now buy new with a Diesel engine anymore.
