What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They like it. Of course they never had to go in it.

Would you buy this car again and why?

No way. Too crude & noisy. Wish I'd tried the demo on my home patch. Never had a car that rides so badly... I've had over 40 of them!

What are you likely to buy next?

Bought a Ford S-MAX. This I did try at home. Shame Ford didn't teach Volvo how to do suspension when they owned it.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Car was on display in showroom for £38k - dealer gave 17% discount plus a really good part exchange deal.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Liked the looksand the image. Plus wanted an SUV-type vehicle with reasonable running costs.

What was the dealer like?

Very good, would recommend anytime.

What's it like to drive?

Great on motorway. Reasonable around town. Dreadful in the countryside where I live. Suspension is too hard; you feel every rut, pothole, ridge & undulation to the extent that it shakes your head. Auto gearbox is hesitant & changes can be felt. Steering has no feel.

What's it like to park?

Not bad. Needs sensors on front. Very mean of Volvo not to fit as standard.

Have you had any problems with the car?

No. However, only had it 3 months.

What's most practical about your car?

Luggage space.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Powered tailgate. Wish my next car has it.
